An injured when her car was struck by an ambulance man filed a lawsuit against the North Whidbey fire and rescue, Whidbey General Hospital and a firefighter.
Lawyers for Whidbey Island resident David Heim filed damages in the superior 24 septembre.Elle Island County Court complaint says Heim has undergone significant bodily injuries in the crash of April 13, 2009, North of Whidbey.
According to the complaint, James Zimmerman employee fire drove an ambulance belonged to Whidbey General Hospital is on the way to Miller.Il drove at a very high rate of speed, the complaint alleges and crossed the stop at the intersection of Balda road sign without stopping and hit a car driven by Heim.
The complaint asserts that intersection has limited visibility and Heim could not see the ambulance was approaching.
To the accident, the complaint alleges, Heim suffered injuries including "a serious impingement of his left shoulder tissues soft damage to his chest and elbow strain of acute back."
"These injuries caused applicant incurring medical and pain and suffering, including significant limitations in its ability to perform, continue to work in his usual business and to conduct himself in active lifestyle to which he was accustomed" the complaint says.
Heim seeks unspecified damages claim for General and special damages cover medical expenses and to compensate for the pain and suffering, emotional distress, disability and disturbance of its lifestyle.
