SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) - Speedway police studying a wife of 30 years as a person of interest in the fatal shooting at Speedway Saturday night.
Happened in the Embassy 2800 block a line of school close to I-465 in the International Village apartments.
Police said they found that 35 year-old John Norwood a bullet in the chest outside of a building with apartments around 7: 00 pm on Saturday night.
Neighbouring said our crew at the scene, they have heard at least two shots of feu.Ils say that it was when they went outside to see what happened.
Stephanie Hampton, lived in the complex and spoken at 24 hours News 8 Phil Sanchez about half an hour after the shooting survenu.Elle explained what she thought happened after that she saw the police in the parking lot.
"As someone I wrong or some chose.Parce I saw this and they packed the yellow ribbon" said Hampton.
Ambulance took the victim at Wishart Hospital where he died over tard.Police release its nom.Ils say only it was a black man and they are trying to determine if he lived in the apartment complex.
