A car washer who police said has violent tendencies made his first court appearance Monday afternoon in a stabbing case.
The 29-year-old stabbed another man Sunday afternoon at a bus stop in Sodo. But court documents released Monday don't give details about what might had led to the attack.
Seattlepi.com does not typically name suspects until they're charged. Wednesday is the charging deadline.
Officers responded about 5:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Fourth Avenue South and found the victim bleeding from multiple stab wounds. The suspect was found at Airport Way South and South Hill Street.
A witnesses taken there by police identified the suspect as the aggressor, according to court documents. That suspect, who at a shelter across from the King County Courthouse, listed his boss at an auto care and detail shop as his emergency contact, court documents show.
The victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, but is expected to survive.
