The eastbound State Route 520 off-ramp to 124th Avenue Northeast will be closed this weekend from 1 a.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Monday for road work.
Crews plan to drill and pour concrete for a new bridge over 124th Avenue Northeast. The work is part of the Bellevue Braids project, designed to increase safety and relieve congestion near the junction of Interstate 405 and SR-520, one of the busiest interchanges in the state.
The project will reshape I-405 from downtown Bellevue to SR-520. It will include a new ramp that links Northeast 10th Street directly to eastbound SR-520, and a bypass lane from SR-520 to 124th Avenue Northeast.
Drivers should use alternate routes to avoid delays or take the designated detour via 148th Avenue Northeast.
